Aymen Handicrafts Producer Company Limited (AHPCL) is a government-registered organization under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India (CIN: U17299JK2022PTC013952). It is also registered with NITI Aayog's NGO DARPAN portal (ID: JK/2022/0332431). Sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, AHPCL leads a sanctioned handicraft cluster project in Chichloora, Goigam, and Pinjoora (Roshan Abad), Tehsil Kharhama, Tangmarg, District Baramulla, Jammu & Kashmir. This initiative aims to preserve and promote the traditional Sozni Pashmina craft under the National Handicrafts Development Programme (NHDP) and Ambedkar Hastshilp Vikas Yojana (AHVY) scheme.
Our Vision
AHPCL is dedicated to promoting and developing cottage industries, including Khadi, handloom, and textile crafts (hand-spun and handwoven) across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Our mission is to empower rural and urban artisans through sustainable development, skill enhancement, and livelihood opportunities. By implementing government-backed handicraft schemes, artisan training programs, and cluster-based projects, we aim to preserve traditional craftsmanship and boost the local handicrafts economy.

At AHPCL, our mission is to preserve traditional craftsmanship, empower artisans, and promote sustainable growth in the handicraft and handloom sectors. - To manufacture, sell, buy, import, and export handicrafts, textiles, and small-scale handloom products.
- To support and supply artisans with plant, machinery, tools, materials, and goods necessary for their crafts.
- To implement training programs that improve the skills and livelihoods of rural and urban artisans.
- To establish platforms that connect artisans with national and international markets.
Our Initiatives & Programs
Under the National Handicrafts Development Programme (NHDP), AHPCL has successfully conducted multiple artisan training programs, skill development workshops, and awareness events to enhance artisans’ skills, product quality, and market access. These initiatives aim to strengthen the handicraft sector in India and support sustainable livelihood for traditional artisans. Our key initiatives include:
Training & Capacity Building Programs
- Seminars: Two one-day sessions held in Chichloora to educate artisans on business development and market trends.
- Craft Demonstration Programs: Two 3-day Sozni embroidery showcases held in Kunzer.
- Entrepreneurship Programs: Six-day trainings in Baramulla and Kunzer on business and finance skills.
- Design Development Programs: Two sessions in Chichloora and Goigam to modernize traditional designs while preserving heritage.
Exhibitions & Market Linkages
- 10-day exhibition at Apple Resort, Batpora, on Gulmarg Road, Kunzer, featuring authentic Sozni Pashmina crafts and other handmade products.
- Collaboration with various government and private organizations to create sustainable market linkages for artisans.
